STEINA water-based stain for interior wood is virtually odourless, won’t raise the grain, and leaves no overlap marks. It delivers exceptional one-coat coverage on wood surfaces such as furniture, cabinets, doors, mouldings, and floors.
PREPARATION – BARE WOOD: Sand the surface along the wood grain using 120-grit sandpaper, then 150-grit. Carefully remove all sanding dust before application. APPLICATION: Stir well. Pour a small amount of stain onto a Passeport Élite applicator pad and apply in the direction of the wood grain. Wipe off any excess with a clean, soft cloth. Work in small sections to prevent the stain from drying between applications. COVERAGE: Up to 200 sq. ft. (20 m²) per litre. DRYING TIME: 2 hours under normal temperature and humidity conditions. CLEANING: Clean tools with warm, soapy water. FINISHING: To seal and protect the stained surface, apply Passeport Élite varnish. VOC: < 250 g/L
