STEINA penetrating oil for interior wood provides a rich, natural-looking tint that can be polished to a satin finish. Virtually odourless, it protects, colors, and seals wood surfaces such as furniture, cabinets, doors, mouldings, and floors. Once fully dry, the surface can be top-coated with Passeport Élite varnish.
PREPARATION – BARE WOOD: Sand the surface along the grain using 120-grit sandpaper, then 150-grit. Carefully remove all sanding dust before application PREPARATION – FINISHED WOOD: Remove any existing finish using sandpaper or a paint stripper. If using a stripper, follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Carefully remove all sanding dust before application. APPLICATION: Shake well before use. Apply with a soft cloth or cotton wick, following the wood grain. Let it penetrate for 5–10 minutes, then wipe off excess. COVERAGE: Up to 200 sq. ft. (20 m²) per litre. DRYING TIME: 6 to 8 hours under normal temperature and humidity conditions. CLEANING: Clean tools with mineral spirits (paint thinner). VOC: < 250 g/L
