N95 Particulate Filter provides respiratory protection in environments with certain non-oil particles. When fitted correctly, this set is suitable for a variety of applications including spray paint, petrochemical industry, chemical manufacturing and pesticide spraying for concentrations up to 10 times the limit of permissible exposure with half masks, or up to 50 times the permissible exposure limit with full face masks that have been quantitatively fit tested. The filter protects against 1) solids such as those from the processing of minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour and certain other substances; 2) oil-free liquids or particles from vaporizers that do not emit noxious fumes; and 3) metallic fumes produced by welding, soldering, cutting, or other operations involving the heating of metals.
