Gotham Acetone Acetone is the solvent with the fastest evaporation rate. It is useful for dissolving and cleaning fiberglass resin and epoxy. It is a strong solvent that can be used on most surfaces. It is also excellent for removing the sticky film of labels and other adhesives left on glass or porcelain from plastics and synthetic fibers. Always test for discoloration on an inconspicuous corner first. The high evaporation rate also means it is very flammable.
